KARACHI – Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar on Saturday said that ‘Naya Pakistan’ is not possible without ‘Naya Karachi’.
Addressing a ceremony on development of the people of Karachi and the issue of changes in local government system, Asad Umar said that ‘Naya Karachi’ will be formed under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He further said that for development of Karachi, a new local system, in which people of Karachi have equal resources and power, should be enforced. A petition has been filed in Supreme Court for changing local bodies system in Karachi, he added.
