NASA Has Just Discovered This Giant Asteroid That's Rapidly Approaching Earth

NASA has just discovered this giant asteroid that's rapidly approaching Earth. Today, we take a look at the asteroid 2002 PZ39 and what NASA had to say about it.

While scanning the cosmos, NASA researchers have been able to find some incredible celestial objects. According to NASA, there are more than 25,000 asteroids near us of 140 meters in size at a minimum. One of the biggest asteroids to collide with our planet happened 65 million year ago.

One of these that's recently made the news is that of 2002 PZ39. NASA has confirmed that this large asteroid will come close to our planet, further saying that it's currently travelling at around 34,000 miles per hour.
