Getting Real about Body Issues and Simplicity 8461 Mockup | Thread and Needlefish

I set out today with the intention of making a full mockup and starting on Simplicity 8461, a 1940s suit. That derailed rather quickly.

I would like to start a conversation about body image in the sewing community. I personally haven't seen any videos circulating where this is a major topic discussed, so I wanted to bring it up. If you have any opinions on the topic or want to share your personal experiences, please comment and let me know that either I'm not alone, or I'm being irrational and this is a non-issue.
