India on Monday reported four new cases of coronavirus, taking the number of cases to 43. Union Health Ministry officials said one new case each was reported from Delhi, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Coronavirus crisis has deepened in Kerala as 6 positive cases which includes a 3 year old child, were reported in the state. The child, who had travel history to Italy was tested positive of the deadly virus. Detecting symptoms of coronavirus in the child, they were immediately referred to the isolation ward.The parents of the three-year-old have also been shifted to the isolation ward in Ernakulam.
Meanwhile, 5 news positive cases emerged in the state, out of which 3 of the patients have hid the fact they have visited Italy. They have also infected two of their relatives. According to the information, the five patients might have interacted with nearly 3000 people in Pathanamthitta district in Kerala.
In Kerala, notwithstanding the scare and strict government guidelines, lakhs of women took part in the famous "Attukal Pongala" festival.
