S. Korea's safety ministry drafts additional budget to stop COVID-19 spread 코로나19 '심각'에 긴급대책비로 특교세 513억원 추가지원

To support efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus,... South Korea's safety ministry will release a special one-time grant of over 42-million U.S. dollars.
The ministry said Wednesday that the funds will be used to purchase extra diagnostic equipment.
Of the total, over eight million dollars will be allocated to Daegu, and six-and-a-half million to Gyeongsangbuk-do Province both designated as 'special management zones.'
The safety minister said local governments will mobilize all possible means to help health authorities until the outbreak brought under control.
