RCS Chat is finally here! And it works on all Android Devices! So you can now see when friends and typing, replying, sending files and more. I can confirm this works perfectly in Australia (Optus) and allows for files up to 105mb to be sent. #rcsanyandroid #enablercschat #techblokes
You'll need to download two apps to get this working:
Messages (by Google) I'm using the Beta version, I'm not sure if that makes any difference.
Activity Launcher:
Once you download Activity Launcher, go to all activities, find Messages and then select Set RCS Flags. After that, open select the ACS Flags "...us.sandbox.google.com" and OTP pattern "...\sG-(\d{6}). Force close Messages, re-opening it, go to settings, Chat Features and select the enable button! If that doesn't work first go, clear your carrier cache (as seen in the video..)
