Link building in SEO requires you to take many things into considerations. The 2 most important ones are an authority (power) and relevancy of the links. In an ideal situation, you should always strive for links with high authority and relevancy, as with power, you will get the boost in ranking as needed and as Google now considers relevancy to be their most important ranking factors, you need relevant links as well.
