Somnivirus is an Australian Heavy Metal (Aussie Heavy Metal) Band on a quest to revitalise the mastery all eras of metal including elements of thrash metal, heavy metal, death metal and groove metal.
The genesis of this mission occured in the ancient foraged lands of the Ku Ring Gai National Park, as one man by the name of Russell Gilmore procured a sacred amber pendant under under a weathered Eucalyptus.
This pendant was said by locals to be the only cure to the sleeping virus of the computer & phone screen (known as Somnivirus). The wisdom etched into the lyrics of Russell's music and the Eucalypt sent in the hardcopy version of his CDs are an attempt to complete this mission.
