MBTA recently announced that they will be auctioning off 6 of their Boeing LRVS and Type 7s assorted, 3453, 3417, 3448 and type 7s are 3703, 3711, and 3719 When I hear the news I knew I had to go see them! Me and the World Of transit decided to make the long trek to Riverside station. We had a heads up that there was a path that ran through the woods behind the carhouse that would overlook the cars that were soon to be sold for scrap, and there was a fence separating us from the cars, but luckily we could stick our camera through it to get good photos. We finally figured out how to get there and then we saw the cars. We took photos and videos and finally, we left. It was touching to see these cars, thinking about how much they have been through (especially 3703), and it was sad to think that these would be gone in just a few days. The day was concluded and we left Riverside. I WAS NOT TRESPASSING! IT WAS NOT ON THE MBTA PROPERTY, THERE WAS A FENCE THAT SEPARATED ME AND THE CARS.
