Authorities confirm no evacuees on Christmas Island or Darwin have contracted coronavirus

Tests have found there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus among the more than 500 evacuees being held on Christmas Island and in Darwin.

The 276 people being held on Christmas Island will begin returning home on February 17 and those held at the Inpex workers’ village at Howard Springs will return home on February 23.
