Panelo: Duterte won't interfere with ABS-CBN franchise renewal | Headstart

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has not and will not interfere in the functions of Congress as they hear bills on the renewal of ABS-CBN's franchise. That assurance from Duterte spokesman Salvador Panelo as he insists, the President wants congress to take up the issue, with the media giant's current franchise set to expire next month.
