NEET 2020 Exam Schedule Final Dates
NEET Registration Dates (Online submission of NEET application form) 2nd to 31st December, 2019
Successful Transaction of Fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ NetBanking/ UPI 2nd December to 1st January, 2020
Correction in Particulars of NEET Application Form 15th to 31st January, 2020
Downloading of NEET Admit Cards 27th March, 2020
Date of NEET Examination 3rd May, 2020
Timing of NEET Examination 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm
Duration of NEET Examination 180 minutes (03 hours)
Mode of NEET Examination Pen and Paper
Declaration of NEET Results 4th June, 2020

NEET 2020 Change in Exam Pattern
There is no change in NEET 2020 exam pattern. NEET 2020 entrance test shall consist of one paper of duration 03 hours.

Sections: Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology)
Total No. Of Questions: 180 Objective type questions
Physics : 45 questions
Chemistry : 45 questions
Biology (Botany + zoology) : 90 questions

Each question carries 4 marks for every correct answer. There is also negative marking, deducting 1 mark for every wrong answer.
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 for admissions to medical colleges will be held in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya and Urdu.

NEET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.

For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% marks for Unreserved and General-EWS candidates.

Those who are appearing in Class XII examination in 2020 can appear for the NEET-UG 2020 entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later. He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.

Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO) & Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET-UG 2020. Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizen of India intending to pursue MBBS/ BDS from a foreign Medical/ Dental Institute need to qualify NEET-UG 2020.

National Testing Agency will conduct NEET 2020 on May 3 in pen and paper-based mode in 2546 exam centres across 155 cities in India. NTA has released the NEET 2020 application form on December 2 in online mode. NEET 2020 aspirants will be able to fill the application form till December 31. NTA has released an official notification regarding the selection of state of eligibility for 15% All India Quota seats, which can be checked below.
